2. How we use data

To authenticate you and sync your shelf.

To generate stories via DeepSeek API (prompts are sent to the AI provider).

To process payments via Paddle (we do not store full card numbers).

Public books you publish remain visible until you unpublish or delete them.

6. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Backups may persist up to 30 days after deletion.

7. Security

We use HTTPS, row-level security on the database, and server-side validation. No system is 100% secure.
